Cry of a Common Man . . .!

The impact of killer corona virus in its 2nd wave is unimaginable. Every other day, we keep hearing about the sad stories of untimely demises of people in our own known circle. So far 30 lakhs plus had died globally since last year for this disease. In India 4000 plus every day and in TN close to 300 people are dying almost every single day.

This is highly painful. Literally it has become a threat to human race itself. We are not sure whether we ourselves will be spared tomorrow. It affects mercilessly any Tom, Dick or Harry without any specific pattern. It has literally imprisoned us inside the 4 walls. People are shit scared of getting out of their houses. Those who dare to get out citing their work, are knowingly risking their own lives.  Many have no choice but for going out and work for meeting out the expenses of their livelihood.  Whereas for govt. officials, doctors, nurses, paramedics, healthcare warriors and other essential commodity suppliers / service providers, it is their magnanimity which makes them involve in such benevolent activities at such tough times.

Phrases viz., vaccination for everyone, herd immunity etc. are all looking very distant milestones to achieve at this juncture. The struggle of people in getting the medicine “Remedisivir” at its selling points, is indescribable.

Those who miss to detect the symptoms early out of their ignorance or negligence, have very remote chances for survival. The sight of corpses being burnt at pyres & ambulances with bodies waiting outside the cremation centers, looks as cruel as holocaust that happened in Germany's concentration camps during world war times then.

We only heard or read about extinction of species in history. Now, we are actually undergoing the experience. In spite of exemplary medical advancements, we are still finding it difficult to restrict the mortality rate.

Though we try to stay strong or be in a positive frame of mind, things happening around only discourage us in some way or the other.

When are all these going to be stopped? When are we going to get back to our routine? When are our children going to enter inside their classrooms physically? When are we going to see / meet each other? Why do our savior Gods choose to remain blind or deaf when something so gruesome is displayed in front of them? Will our prayers be answered?

"Hope" is the only healer at this point of time.  Let God's will prevail.

Be safe & Beware.
